Should I register to use the services provided by 'Customer E-Services'? |
| |
| |
 |
'Customer E-Services' provides access to frequently requested information over the Internet to following three types of users: |

Customers of RTTC |
| |
| |
|
|
If your company is currently doing business with us and would like to use the functions provided in the menu 'Authorized Customer', you need to register with us. Please contact our Customer Services at customerservice@rttc.com.hk. |

|
|
Transportation Companies with Tractor Identity Cards (TID) |
| |
| |
|
|
If you already have an effective TID card, you can access the functions in the menu 'Transportation Company' by using your company code and the password currently registered with the TID card without prior registration. |

| |
|
|
General Public Users |
| |
| |
|
|
The functions in the menu 'General Enquiry' and 'Download' can be freely accessed. No registration is required |

| |
What is the minimum system requirement for accessing 'Customer E-Services'? |
| |
| |
|
Hardware |
| |
| |
|
|
PC with processing power equivalent to Pentium III 866 MHz or faster and with minimum 256 MB RAM installed. |
| |
| |
|
|
Screen display with resolution 800x600 or above. 'Customer E-Services' is best viewed in resolution 800x600. |
| |
| |
|
|
A connection to the Internet provided by any Internet Service Provider (ISP). Broadband Internet access is recommended, especially for viewing reports. |

Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4 / Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional SP2. |

Why is my account locked? |
| |
| |
|
Your authorized account will be locked after 3 consecutive times of failure logon to prevent the unauthorized use. You may unlock your account yourself by using 'Unlock User Account' function or contact our Customer Services at customerservice@rttc.com.hk to reactivate your account. |

What can I do if I forget my password? |
| |
| |
|
For customers of RTTC, you may contact our Customer Services at customerservice@rttc.com.hk to reset your password. An email (with new password) will be sent to your registered email address. You can log on the system with new password. |

|
For transportation companies, you may need to contact HIT for checking the password to be used with TID card. |
| |
| |
| |
Why do I fail to change my password? |
| |
| |
|
Please make sure your selected password have at least 8 characters with mix of letters and numbers. |
| |
| |
| |
Why is my session in 'Customer E-Services' automatically logged off? |
| |
| |
|
Any logged on session without activity in 10 minutes will be logged off automatically. |
| |
| |
| |
What should I do if there is no report pop-up window appeared after submitting the report generation request? |
| |
| |
|
Please check whether your PC has met the minimum software requirement first. If it is met, then check the 'Block Pop-ups' setting of Microsoft Internet Explorer and other Security Software installed on your PC. For changing the setting on Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can follow the steps below or referring to the latest help available in Microsoft Internet Explorer: |

For PC with Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or later version, |
| |
| |
|
|
In the Internet Explorer, open the Internet options setting window from menu option 'Tools'=>'Internet Options'. |

| |
|
|
Select the 'Privacy' tab page. |
| |
| |
|
|
Uncheck the checkbox 'Block Pop-ups'. |
| |
| |
|
|
For PC with Microsoft Windows XP SP1 or earlier version, |
| |
| |
|
|
A message box will be prompted in the Internet explorer after you submitting the report generation request. |
| |
| |
|
|
Put the cursor on the message and right click the mouse. |
| |
| |
|
|
Select option to allow pop-up window. |
